Chelsea‘s Cesar Azpilicueta, Andreas Christensen, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, and N’Golo Kante have all been ruled out of the Blues’ Carabao Cup clash with Southampton as they’ve ‘minor issues‘.
As the starting XI’s were announced, followers could have noticed that the Blues are without a number of of their key players who do not even make the bench for the round of 16 matches.
And as per Adam Newson, there’s nothing to fret about for the Blues because the players have suffered minor injuries.

Further reports have gone into additional details on the absences.
It was reported that Christensen is struggling with ‘problems together with his teeth’, ruling him out of Tuesday’s match.
Azpilicueta then again has suffered shoulder harm which means he can not characteristic.
Kante was deemed ‘not 100 percent match’ to start the match and Loftus-Cheek picked up minor harm within the closing minutes of Chelsea’s 7-0 thrashing of Norwich City.
